Conduct regular inspections and audits of the production process to ensure adherence to quality standards and SOPs. Monitor critical control points (CCPs) and take corrective actions when deviations occur. Perform routine and non-routine laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products, including microbial analysis, chemical analysis and physical properties testing. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all quality control activities, including test results, inspections, and corrective actions. Prepare and review quality control reports and present findings to management. Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve quality issues. Train production staff/casuals on quality control procedures and best practices. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and other applicable standards. Manage and calibrate laboratory equipment. Oversee the disposal of waste materials in accordance with environmental regulations. Assist in the development and validation of new analytical methods. Supervise and mentor QC technicians and analysts. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency. Preferred candidate profile :- Strong understanding of biofertilizer production processes, including fermentation, formulation, and quality control testing. Proficiency in various microbiological and analytical techniques. Excellent record-keeping and documentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.
