Role: The role requires a minimum of three years of experience in using Power BI. The developer must demonstrate the ability to work independently and efficiently. Candidates would be assessed based on the following capabilities: Technical Capabilities: Minimum three years demonstrable and progressive experience in using Microsoft Power BI Service (desktop and cloud editions) Full-time working experience of three years after graduation shall only be considered Connecting data sources, importing data, and developing reports based on requirements Experience in data visualization design and development on Power BI as core tool Sound knowledge of Power BI in data model preparation, creating visuals, reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards Capable of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI Knowledge of DAX queries for complex analysis Basic knowledge of R would be an added advantage Working Capabilities: Receive requests from data analysts, and technical analysts, build queries and structure dashboards or reports Proficient in writing queries and converting business requirements into visualization Capability to structure dashboards/reports that are easily understandable Adept in developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements Analytical thinking for independently verifying requirements versus output Documentation of work Should be able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with data warehouse standards Good communication skills to discuss the requirements effectively with the client teams, and with internal teams Education: Candidates from computer science and allied backgrounds may apply. Certifications (Either One): Training in Power BI including DAX, or Certified in Power BI including DAX Languages: Candidates must be fluent in their comprehension of English. Fluency in spoken and written English would be an added advantage. Working Location: Residents of Chennai only Full-time at office - no hybrid Working Hours: Indian Standard Time 8 hours a day, 5 days a week
