The Role The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in test environment setup, test planning, test design, test case creation, test automation, test execution, defect reporting, and test closure activities. The candidate must be proficient in all stages of software testing and well-versed in functional and non-functional testing (including availability, usability, and reliability). Experience with testing tools like QTP, ALM, Jira, Rally, Selenium, Robot Framework, and Karate is essential. A strong understanding of Agile methodologies and participation in Agile ceremonies is required. The role involves executing SQL queries for data validation and collaborating directly with stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle. Regular client interaction for requirements gathering and status updates is also a key responsibility. Primary Skillset Extensively used testing tools like QTP, ALM, Jira and Rally for Functional and Regression Testing Experienced in tools like Selenium/Robot framework/Karate tools Secondary Skillset ADA testing, load testing Requirements 3 to 7 years of experience as a Test Engineer working on web-based applications. Involved in setting up test environments, test planning, test design, test case creation, test automation, test execution, defect reporting, test status reporting, and test closure activities. Well-versed in all stages of software testing. Extensive experience using testing tools such as QTP, ALM, Jira, and Rally for functional and regression testing. Hands-on experience with Selenium, Robot Framework, and Karate. Proficient in Agile methodologies and actively participates in Agile ceremonies. Experienced in functional and non-functional testing, including availability, usability, and reliability testing. Skilled in executing SQL queries to validate data and ensure successful transactions. Works directly with stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
