Qt Developer

We are currently looking for a skilled QT Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to innovative product development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain cross-platform desktop applications using Qt (Qt Widgets/Qt Quick/QML).
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and backend developers to translate designs and business requirements into robust software.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Integrate third-party libraries and APIs.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes.
• Work closely with the product team to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality features.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in C++ with strong knowledge of the Qt framework (Qt5/Qt6). Proficiency in GUI development with Qt Widgets or QML.
• Solid understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, multithreading, and event-driven programming.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with tools such as CMake or qmake.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience using Win32 APIs to detect and timestamp foreground application activity (e.g., GetForegroundWindow, window text/class retrieval).
• Experience implementing C++/WinAPI hooks (e.g., SetWindowsHookEx) and related techniques to observe and react to system-level events.
• Familiarity with Microsoft UI Automation (or accessibility APIs) to enumerate UI elements and their properties (name, control type, value) in the foreground application for reliable UI-level tracking.
• Knowledge of file-system monitoring techniques (e.g., ReadDirectoryChangesW or change journals) to detect file moves/copies and other transfer activity.
• Experience extracting email content, metadata, and attachments from desktop email clients e.g., using MAPI for Outlook; Thunderbirds MailExtension/WebExtension APIs or its IMAP/POP client functionality; and accessing services like Gmail, Yahoo Mail, and others via their APIs (e.g. Gmail API/IMAP/SMTP, Yahoo IMAP) or application-specific integration or import mechanisms.
• Experience on macOS with equivalents: using macOS APIs (e.g., Accessibility APIs, AppleScript, AXUIElement or related) or newer frameworks (like ScreenCaptureKit) to determine foreground window/activity; using FSEvents, fswatch, or other macOS file system event APIs to monitor directory / file changes.
• Prior work on desktop monitoring tools is preferred i.e. candidates who have built, maintained, or heavily used such tools will be given preference.
