About the role: An IT Project Manager is responsible for developing and managing information technology projects and their cost, time and scope. Responsibilities include creating a project plan, communication plan, allocating tasks and setting milestones. Responsibilities: • Provide technology strategy planning • Integrate information technologies into the company for optimal effectiveness • Understand current and future business goals and ongoing IT issues to ensure business success • Develop a renewal and upgrade schedule for company software programs and • Ensure that employees are following computer use policies, information security and privacy • Participate in recruitment, orientation and ongoing training of new IT staff • Supervise and direct IT personnel • Work on multiple projects within the companys project portfolio simultaneously • Manage all project documentation • Help the project team with the design and development tasks Develop long-term relationships with client. • Prepare SOW, BRD's, and FRD Build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user’s specialised role • Design and implement database in accordance to end users information needs and views • Required skills and experience: • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field • 6+ years’ experience as an IT Professional. • Three or more years of project management experience in information technology I.T. • In-depth knowledge of VMWare, Microsoft Windows, Google Apps administration, network administration and service desk administration • ITIL or ITSM certifications are preferred. • Detail oriented and Thrives in a collaborative environment • Business & IT strategy experience • Knowledge of related software development and project management tools • Several years of professional experience as a backend developer, preferably working on web applications. • Proficiency in building RESTful APIs using frameworks like Spring Java, spring boot or hibernate • Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and writing efficient SQL or NoSQL queries. • Familiarity with frontend technologies like React and an understanding of how the frontend interacts with backend systems. Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL • Familiarity with database design, documentation and coding • Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third party tools Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile
