Calix is seeking an experienced Software Engineer with experience in design and development of BNG suite of protocols. You will be involved in Implementing innovative solutions for Broadband Access Networks. Broadband Service Providers use our Software Platforms and Calix cloud solutions to simplify operations, excite subscribers and grow their value by offering managed services. Responsibilities and Duties: Work under the guidance of senior staff to implement BNG/vBNG solutions for Access and Edge networks to build an innovative service delivery platform. Design and Implement features collaborating with worldwide geographically distributed team. Implement solutions in one or more areas related to BNG and Subscriber Management Protocols and support software. Work on implementing proof-of-concept prototypes, and then productizing the final solution, unit and feature testing and test automation. Write detailed Design specs, coding, unit and functional testing and automation in Agile development environment. Working with cross functional teams to implement the solution. Participate in Design reviews, internal and customer POCs and solution implementation. This role requires a deep understanding of networking technologies, project and program management methodologies, and stakeholder coordination to deliver secure, scalable, and high-availability network solutions. The Program Manager will oversee end-to-end delivery of large-scale network programs, such as data center transformation, SD-WAN rollout, global MPLS migrations, wireless architecture upgrades, and integration with security platforms like Zscaler, Cisco ISE, and Palo Alto K͏ey Roles & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities : Program Planning & Governance: Define and own the overall program roadmap for enterprise network infrastructure projects. Develop integrated program plans including scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and resource allocation.
