The role of Assistant Manager / Manager SAP ABAP based in Ahmedabad requires you to work from the office and be open to relocation. As an ABAP Programmer, your responsibilities will include preparing technical specifications, conducting unit testing, contributing to integration testing, and delivering end-user training. You will need to ensure compliance with programming and documentation standards, review and correct ABAP program errors, and update existing program codes when necessary. You will also be responsible for providing technical development estimations for assigned projects and maintaining, optimizing, and improving applications and systems. To be successful in this role, you should have a B Tech / M Tech / MBA / MCA qualification, preferably with experience in the Pharma industry and SAP Certification in ABAP. With 6-9 years of experience in ABAP design, testing, and debugging related to the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP modules, you must possess strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP Development. Proficiency in Code Remediation and Standard SAP Remediation tools is essential, along with expertise in ABAP dictionary, Reports, SAP Scripts, Smart forms, Adobe forms, Dialog programming, Interface programming, ALE/IDOCs, Enhancements, and OOPs. Experience in RICEFW Forms (Adobe also preferable), knowledge of Performance tuning and interfacing technologies, Object-Oriented ABAP, Module pool programming, ABAP debugging, handling various inbound/outbound IDOC types, and basic understanding of SD, MM, PP, FI, and QM Modules are required. You should be a self-starter who can work independently, with strong verbal and written communication skills to express complex technical concepts in business terms and in English effectively.
