Within a tender or a project, reporting hierarchically to the EDU Brake&Air Mgr, and functionally to the Train System Engineer, undertaking a subsystem (brake, air production)from the requirements analysis to the validation and the reliability growth. translation of thecustomer and internal requirements in to design Writing Technical purchase specification of the subsystem interact closely with the suppliers, sourcing, industrialization, quality. leadinginternally and externally all interfaces topics - mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, communication. approve pneumatic scheme , electrical scheme for his perimeter. supervise the subsystem validation at supplier level, as well as the validation of the subsystem on the train. solve reliability issues in revenue service Performing the transverse requirement allocations to the various subsystems in close collaboration with the relevant specialists, Performing requirement development, coming from reference and applicable documents from Metiers, Standards, Certification, Safety, Platform and Customer Defining the Train System architecture, operational modes and functionalities taking as input the external/internal requirements Performing train system FMECA in coordination with RAMS team Ensuring consistency and compatibility between all the sub-systems specifications, Writing sub-system specification and architecture description (RSAD2) in collaboration with the SSE/PU/TCE according to train level architecture. Fill the Entry connector to question the TSS catalog. For non catalog components, under TSS design authority: Writes the Technical Purchasing Specification (TPS0 - Short Specification) when needed. Writes the TPS1 for supplier consultation and manages technical contact (TPS2) until design has been frozen Drives technical relationships with suppliers with close management of QCD commitments (CbC), risks & validation (including Design Reviews with suppliers). Supporting TSE to define applicable train configuration Ensuring coordination between TSS/PU/Metier on interfaces, performances, technical issues resolution during detailed design phase. On TSE request, participating to technical meetings with customer in order to provide support. V&V activities: Responsible for: Defining and performing Train verification strategy in close collaboration with all Engineering metiers, Certification & Validation teams and TSS Team and Participating Units. Writing the train level test specifications Ensuring the train integration and tuning. During train revenue service: Technical open issues resolution on TSE request, from investigation to modification implementation and problem closure, QCD and reporting: Responsible for: Performing reporting at project level (to TSE, via KPI) and metier level (via weekly reports) Supporting TSE for implementation and update of Engineering risks mitigation plan, change order process and QCD optimisation Providing Return of experience to be implemented in Reference Solutions. Knowledge & Experience : General technical competencies More than 2 years in Railways engineering

Driving the design of server distributions and applications for the ICC system Applying best practices in system engineering and design methodologies Supporting development and integration during integration phases Organizing and leading Design Reviews with sub-system teams Contributing to the technical coordination and design decision-making processes Alerting and reporting any events that may impact Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) commitments Degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech/M.Tech) Experience or understanding of system design and development, with a preference for expertise in Model-Based System Engineering Knowledge of modern Railway Signalling systems and network protocols Familiarity with design for safety, cybersecurity, and RAM compliance A proactive mindset and the ability to work autonomously Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams Adaptability and resilience under pressure

Accountable to deliver ATC QCD commitments. He/she is the direct technical interface with the Customer for ATC Engineering. Provides ATC functional and architecture specification, ATC detailed design and ATC configuration. Provides corrections during and until customer acceptance. Provides Sig RS (signaling rolling stock) interface specification, until mutual agreement from both engineering entities. Contribute to the definition of the functional validation phase of the sub-system (I&V and FIVP) Ensure that all Domain / Metier activities follow ATC ADDA process. Support PrEM to ensure full transparency of ATC Engineering WP QCD performance (including physical progress) at all times, in line with standard reporting requirements. Follow the monthly review cycle with PrEM, highlighting main variances against the Project Engineering QCD commitment, initiating corrective actions and immediately informing the PrEM and RC Projects Engineering Domain / Metier DH where major deviations are detected. Follow and participate in Risk and Savings Reviews for his / her scope. Provide inputs to PrEM to update the RAMP and SAMP of the Project. If the ATCscope changes (due to either internal or external changes), support PrEM in Project Engineering QCD commitment variations with the Project Controller. Make communication with customer and ensure ATC documentation are approved. Minimum Qualifications: BE/BTech in Electronics/Electronics and Communication. 8-12 years experience in rail signaling /Automation domain. Experience in ATC systems (trackside and/or trainborne) or alternatively similar complex real time system (avionics, defence), with technical lead role. Engineering background (System engineering knowledge (desirable: signaling system). System Specification and Requirements Development Customer Technical Management QCD management (in particular : Ability to lead transversally engineering teams ) Team Management English (Good verbal and written communication skills). Preferred Qualifications: Software engineering (master methods and tools to configure generic ATC software). Rolling stock systems (especially the ones that interface with trainborne ATP like brakes, traction, doors). Basic SW development skills and Expert-level knowledge in Excel.
