The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in end-to-end IT sales , including liaison with government officials , understanding of government procurement processes , and fluent communication in Gujarati . Job Title: Tender & Bid Executive Government IT Procurement Location: Hyderabad, India Employment Type: Full-Time Job Overview: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Tender & Bid Executive with a strong background in Indian government procurement processes in the IT sector. The ideal candidate should have end-to-end experience in tender identification, bid preparation, submission, and post-submission coordination, including dealing with state and central government portals, GEM, and reverse auctions. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough research and identification of relevant IT tenders using smart keyword strategies across multiple government procurement portals (state and central). End-to-end management of the tendering process including EOI, RFP, RFQ, and bid documentation. Understand and navigate the complete bid lifecycle including technical and financial submissions, clarifications, and negotiations. Handle bid submissions through the GeM portal , state procurement platforms, and central e-procurement systems. Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Pre-Sales, Delivery, Finance, etc.) to gather required documentation and inputs for bid preparation. Ensure adherence to bid submission timelines and proactively track opportunities for timely decision-making. Interact professionally and obediently with clients for clarifications and follow-ups. Work with OEMs and partners in the hardware, software, and IT infrastructure space to gather quotations, authorizations, and compliance documents. Maintain partnerships and manage documentation requirements including MOUs, NDAs, and authorizations. Understand the evaluation criteria like L1 (Least Cost) and QCBS (Quality and Cost-Based Selection). Participate in and manage Reverse Auction (RA) processes effectively. Demonstrate a cross-functional approach in sales, pre-sales, and post-sales coordination to ensure bid success. Provide timely reports and documentation using Microsoft Word and Excel. Go the extra mile to ensure a high win rate in competitive bids. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in government IT tenders and bidding processes. Strong understanding of Indian government procurement systems and e-tendering platforms. Excellent knowledge of GEM portal and bid processes. Familiarity with software, hardware, and IT infrastructure OEM ecosystem. Proficient in MS Word and Excel. Strong communication and client interaction skills. Detail-oriented, quick learner, and able to work under tight deadlines. High level of accountability and decision-making skills. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field. Experience in both product and services-based IT bidding. Prior experience with Reverse Auction platforms. Proven track record in managing complex bid processes with high success rates. Compensation: Competitive salary as per industry standards.
