QC Sr. Executive (Textile Dyes)

As a QC Sr. Executive in the textile industry, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Color Matching: - Expertise in shade evaluation using spectrophotometer & visual assessment. - Ability to maintain batch-to-batch consistency and resolve shade variation issues. - Proficiency in color recipe correction and shade reproducibility across substrates. - Fastness Testing: - Skilled in evaluating wash, rubbing, perspiration, sublimation, and light fastness. - Knowledge of AATCC, ISO, and buyer-specific test methods. - Ability to interpret test reports and recommend process/chemical adjustments. - Cotton Dyeing: - Strong understanding of reactive dye application on cotton. - Familiarity with pre-treatment, fixation, washing-off & after-treatment processes. - Troubleshooting shade variation, uneven dyeing, or poor fastness issues. - Nylon Dyeing: - Practical knowledge of acid dye & disperse dye application on nylon. - Expertise in controlling dye bath pH, temperature & leveling agents for uniform results. - Ability to address challenges such as migration, streaking, or reproducibility issues.
