Key Responsibilities: Testing & Supervision: Perform and supervise testing of Epoxy, Concrete, Mortar, Admixtures, Flooring, Raw Materials (RM), and Finished Goods (FG) as per R&D specifications. Supervise the testing of intermediates and finished products. Generate Certificates of Analysis for all batches produced. QC Records & Data Analysis: Ensure proper maintenance of QC records in both hard and soft copies as per QC requirements. Perform statistical data analysis and process improvement using the analyzed data. SAP & Non-Conformance Management: Authorize and execute RM/PM/FG release in SAP. Generate non-conforming material notes for rejected materials (RM, PM, intermediates, and FG). Modify first-time failure batches as per R&D guidelines. Ensure proper identification and labeling of non-conforming raw, packing materials, intermediates, and finished products. Vendor & Packaging Material Management: Ensure raw materials and packaging materials are supplied by approved vendors. Test and approve new packaging materials as per vendor specifications and submit reports to procurement. Process Improvement & Calibration: Ensure continual improvements in the testing procedures for raw materials, packing materials, and finished goods. Oversee calibration of testing equipment, both internal and external. Ensure all lab equipment is maintained in good working condition. Customer Complaints & Corrective Actions: Handle customer complaints and perform root cause analysis (RCA) for failures. Implement corrective actions based on RCA findings. Compliance & Audits: Ensure compliance with ISO and EHS standards. Assist in establishing new products at the plant level with the technical team. Ensure compliance during all types of audits conducted in the laboratory. Support for Procurement & R&D: Assist Procurement and R&D in the development of new raw materials, packaging materials, and vendors. Conduct regular process audits and take corrective actions on observations/non-conformances. Housekeeping & Training: Maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards in the lab. Train QC lab personnel to perform QC activities safely and precisely as instructed. Coordination with Tolling Units: Coordinate QC operations, new product setups, and daily/monthly reporting with tolling units. Qualifications/Experience: Education: Chemical Engineering / B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry (Inorganic or Organic Chemistry). Experience: 5-6 years of manufacturing/quality control experience in a construction chemicals or chemical manufacturing company. Skills: Knowledge of ERP/SAP systems. Proficient in MS Office and basic computer operations. Competencies: Functional: Knowledge of good laboratory practices with safety-first approach. Strong understanding of routine QC methods, procedures, and equipment handling. Familiarity with Integrated Management System (IMS). Behavioral: Self-starter with a proactive attitude. Strong analytical skills. Team player with good interpersonal skills.
