Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified M.Sc (Polymer Science), B.Tech (Polymer Technology) professional with experience in the paint and coating industry to join our Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) department. The candidate must be fluent in English and skilled in managing quality processes specific to paint manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct quality checks on raw materials, in-process, and finished paint/coating products.
Perform standard physical and chemical tests like viscosity, gloss, adhesion, and drying time.
Maintain QA/QC records, test reports, and batch history sheets.
Ensure products meet company specifications and industry standards (e.g., ISO, BIS).
Support R&D and production teams in resolving quality issues.
Prepare and revise SOPs, QA protocols, and conduct internal audits.
Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment (e.g., spectrophotometers, viscometers).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

M.Sc (Polymer Science), B.Tech (Polymer Technology).
Minimum 2-3 years of QC/QA experience in the paint, coating, or chemical industry.
Strong knowledge of paint formulations and quality parameters.
Proficient in lab testing techniques and handling instruments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Knowledge of safety standards and quality certifications preferred.
