Major key requirements as below :

1. Inspection & coordination of QA-QC related activities.
2. Having 8 - 10 years of experience in their respective disciplines.
3. Additionally, for at the source of the product/procured item, the inspector shall have 10 years inspection experience in manufacturing plants, including 2 years of this inspection experience in the specific commodity and processes to be inspected.
4. Candidates found suitable after the interview will be engaged full-time for a period of 10-12 months and shall operate from our Client office. The engagement may be further extended as per the requirement.
5. Working experience in performing and managing supplier quality assurance and control function in similar projects, preferably supported by relevant discipline equipment / materials manufacturing.
6. Shall have hands on experience in review of inspection / testing / certification requirements.

Procurement

certification requirements. Shall participate in pre-award technical clarification

meetings / Technical Bid Evaluations (TBEs), review supplier QA/QC documents of

respective disciplines. Coordinate supplier inspections, update inspection / test

status, interface with suppliers / third parties on quality issues, inspection report

completeness, etc. Shall have an appropriate knowledge relevant industry codes /

standards / practices relevant to respective equipment / material.

Additionally, for at the source of the product/procured item)the inspector shall have 10 years inspection experience in manufacturing plants, including 2 years of this inspection experience in the specific commodity and processes to be inspected.  Shall be fully conversant with applicable industry standards, specifications, and fabrication methods and shall perform a variety of inspection functions with minimal supervision, as required, to verify supplier compliance with the purchase order requirements.  Shall be able to read engineering drawings.  Shall have knowledge and understanding of ISO-9001 quality system requirements and implementation.  Shall meet all additional minimum requirements for each specific inspection discipline, as follows:

1. Welding and NDT Inspector: shall be certified as an American Welding Society

CWI, CSWIP 3.1 Certified Welding Inspector, or approved equivalent.  Shall have

a background and thorough knowledge of relevant codes such as ANSI B 31.3,

31.4 and 31.8, ASME Section V, VIII and IX, API 620 and 650, AWS D1.1, ISO

14692, required for the execution of the work.  

• Where Non Destructive Testing (NDT) forms part of the work, and Inspector is

required to review or ensure NDT programs and results, Inspector shall have

been previously qualified and certified to a minimum ASNT Level II in the

relevant method(s).  

• When performing, reviewing or ensuring Non Destructive Testing in Visual

Testing (VT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT),

Radiography Testing (RT) or Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Inspector shall be

certified in the specific method(s).  

• When performing, reviewing or ensuring Radiographic Testing Film

Interpretation (RTFI), Inspector shall be familiar in RTFI of welds, castings,

etc.

• Mechanical testing and reports review related to welders / welding procedure

qualifications, field Hardness /Ferrite / Positive Material Identification (PMI)

testing/ Heat Treatment, etc. as relevant to the scope of procurement.
