Description

We are seeking a skilled QC Coating Inspector to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of coating applications through rigorous inspections and testing. The role requires a thorough understanding of coating processes and standards to maintain high-quality outputs.

Responsibilities

Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of coating applications according to project specifications and standards.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures during all phases of the coating process.
Prepare and maintain inspection reports and documentation for all inspections performed.
Identify and report any non-conformances and recommend corrective actions to improve quality processes.
Collaborate with project teams to provide technical support and ensure adherence to quality control protocols.
Conduct tests on coated surfaces to evaluate performance and durability, including adhesion tests and thickness measurements.

Skills and Qualifications

5-6 years of experience in quality control or inspection within the coatings industry.
Strong understanding of coating materials, application processes, and inspection techniques.
Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO, ASTM, and NACE.
Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment, including gauges, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects and deviations in coatings.
Effective communication skills to report findings and collaborate with team members.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
