Job Title: Repair Technician Job Purpose: To perform fault diagnosis, repair, and testing of electronic equipment—primarily set-top boxes—by applying fundamental and practical knowledge of electronics and repair techniques, ensuring quality standards and productivity targets are met. Key Responsibilities: Repair and troubleshoot electronic equipment, with a focus on set-top boxes (preferred). Apply basic understanding of electronic circuits, components, and their functions in the repair process. Identify frequently occurring faults, analyse root causes, and implement appropriate solutions. Handle technical issues in electronic equipment independently and efficiently. Perform testing and diagnostics using tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment. Ensure repair output meets the required monthly productivity and quality targets. Maintain accurate records of repairs and report recurring faults to supervisors for further analysis. Reports To: Technical Supervisor / Manager Qualifications: ITI in Electronics or related field (preferred) Diploma or Bachelor's Degree (BE) in Electrical/Electronics from a recognized institute Skills and Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience in electronic equipment repair Strong commitment to output and productivity targets Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Familiarity with set-top box repair procedures is an advantage Salary: Up to 25000/- + Incentive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) / Key Result Areas (KRAs): Monthly repair output meets or exceeds set targets Low bounce rate (repeat repairs) High first-pass quality approval rate Location : 8Th Cross, Goraguntepalya, Bengaluru - 560022.
