QAD Technical Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and provide tailored solutions using QAD ERP software.
• Lead data migration efforts, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data throughout the transition process.
• Develop and maintain custom applications using Progress 4GL to enhance system functionality.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for QAD ERP systems, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient operations.
• Conduct training sessions for end-users to facilitate smooth adoption of new systems and processes.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in ERP technology to provide innovative solutions.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Experience:

  2 to 4 years of relevant work experience in QAD ERP systems and Progress 4GL.

• Technical Skills:

  Proficiency in data migration techniques and methodologies, with a strong understanding of ERP software functionalities.

• Problem-Solving:

  Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve issues efficiently.

• Communication:

  Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Team Player:

  Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, while also being self-motivated and capable of working independently.
