As a Senior Game Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the structure of games by defining rules, objectives, systems, and features. Your responsibility includes effectively communicating these game elements to various members of the production team, providing the necessary guidance to ensure the intended user experience is delivered. You will be tasked with conceptualizing the overall user experience, designing user journeys and interfaces, and training game testers to ensure game elements are balanced and understood for the final product. Your role will involve close collaboration with a diverse team including game developers, backend developers, technical leads, artists, art directors, QA, customer support, marketing, and social media. Demonstrating a high level of industry experience and knowledge is essential, and showcasing a portfolio of past projects will be expected. Excellent communication and presentation skills are vital, as you will be required to convey feedback to various team members and be open to receiving feedback on your work. A deep understanding of F2P mobile gameplay is necessary, along with narrative development skills and a passion for user interface design. As a strategic thinker, you should exhibit strong creativity and imagination while being able to work both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with a wide range of professionals such as Producers, Artists, Developers, Customer Support, Marketing, Social Media, and Leads to drive the vision of Creative/Game directors. - Develop and maintain detailed level design documents encompassing game mechanics, flow, rules, and definitions. - Define all in-game elements including setting, structure, story, characters, and objects. - Conduct thorough research to bring innovative ideas to the table. - Create and iterate design prototypes, and coordinate with Leads to ensure development aligns with the design document. - Work closely with the QA team to train and ensure the final product meets expectations. Requirements: - 5-15 years of Game design experience. - Experience designing and developing game systems for at least 5 shipped mobile titles, overseeing growth during LiveOP phase. - Proficiency in handling F2P mobile games from concept to live service. - Exceptional content creation skills. - Self-driven, energetic, and highly motivated. - Analytical with the ability to create, communicate, and maintain detailed design documents. - Up-to-date with industry trends, game genres, design methods, and platforms. - Passion for gaming and ability to align with customer feedback-driven vision. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Bachelor's degree preferred.
