Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Tester who is proficient in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will ensure the quality and reliability of our software products by designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts alongside manual test cases.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, or similar.
2. Perform thorough manual testing including functional, usability, regression, and integration testing.
3. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and business scenarios.
4. Identify, document, and track defects thoroughly using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA or similar).
5. Participate in test planning sessions and help define test strategies and test cases.
6. Analyze test results, report issues, and verify fixes.
7. Continuously improve automation frameworks and testing processes.
8. Ensure test coverage and quality standards are met before product releases.
9. Support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices by integrating automated tests into the pipeline.
10. Have experience in Insurance domain
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
11. Proven experience as a QA Tester, with expertise in both manual and automation testing.
12. Proficient in SQL
13. Strong hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium or equivalent.
14. Good knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or VBScript.
15. Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Service Now).
16. Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
17. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar is a plus.
18. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
19. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
20. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
21. Experience with performance testing tools
22. Knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI.
23. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
24. Certification is a plus.
