QA Tester

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of web and API-based applications through automated testing. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, and other automation frameworks. - Integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps. - Performing API testing with tools such as Postman and automating API validations through scripting. - Conducting performance and load testing using JMeter to ensure system scalability and stability. - Collaborating closely with developers and DevOps engineers to seamlessly integrate test automation within the development lifecycle. - Creating, managing, and executing test plans, test cases, and regression suites. - Identifying, logging, and tracking software defects using tools like Jira or Bugzilla, and verifying fixes through re-testing. - Ensuring that quality standards are met at all stages of development through continuous testing and monitoring. - Participating in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives to advocate for testability and quality improvements. - Researching and implementing new testing tools and methodologies to enhance QA efficiency.
