QA Test Engineer (Night Shift)

You are a seasoned and motivated QA Test Engineer with 6-7 years of experience, tasked to provide Test Automation support. You should be a focused and solution-oriented individual who excels independently and collaborates effectively within a cross-functional team. Your role involves running testing efforts to ensure product quality, implementing new QA activities and procedures, and contributing to the innovation and success of the team in shaping exceptional products. **Role Overview:** You will execute the full software development life cycle (SDLC), develop flowcharts and layouts according to requirements, and design test and evaluation procedures to meet system requirements. Additionally, you will collaborate with product owners to formulate test approaches, write test plans, and analyze outcomes effectively. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation according to requirements - Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures - Perform manual test execution including functional, regression, and integration testing - Document defects with steps to reproduce and triage them through the defect lifecycle - Collaborate with product owners to develop test approaches and write test plans - Validate products and find new ways to enhance product quality - Prepare for testing, set up test environments, and identify pre-conditions - Develop strategies for test automation and write/maintain test scripts - Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies - Ensure product compliance with external software quality requirements - Write, implement, and report status for system test cases - Generate quality metrics and reports on product status and health - Review and collect feedback on test plans and test cases - Provide testing expertise for user requirements of complex applications - Participate in risk management assessments and software development phases **Qualifications Required:** - BS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering - 6 or more years of testing experience - Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes - Experience in writing clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases - Hands-on experience with automated testing tools - Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting - Experience in Agile/Scrum development process - Additional experience with performance and/or security testing is advantageous **Additional Details:** You should possess experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, along with familiarity with Zoho, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Git.
