You demonstrate exceptional functional testing abilities, with a strong focus on identifying and addressing edge cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage, maintain high-quality standards, and prevent potential issues. You write detailed test cases to thoroughly evaluate software functionality, document defects meticulously, and track them through to resolution. Additionally, you actively participate in grooming and planning sessions, providing estimates for test activities. Your role involves developing and maintaining test plans to guide the testing process, taking responsibility for releases to ensure all functional testing requirements are met. You should have a good understanding of JIRA and XRAY or similar test management tools, along with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in automation testing. This includes writing test automation scripts for web applications and web services, contributing to existing automation frameworks, and building new frameworks from scratch. Hands-on experience in JavaScript is essential, as well as a strong understanding of Selenium or other automation tools, and testing frameworks like Xunit. You should also have a solid grasp of API testing and API automation, with familiarity in Postman automation being a plus. Previous experience in testing conversational chatbot applications is required, along with working knowledge of Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban. Meeting required quality deliverables and adhering to deadlines are crucial aspects of the role. As a member of the QA community, you must possess a strong testing mindset with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring thorough validation of software functionality and early identification of potential issues in the development process. A good understanding of object-oriented design principles and best practices of automation scripting is essential. You should be proactive in providing inputs during grooming sessions based on design/implementation options, staying updated on the latest technology developments, and sharing your learnings with the community. Moreover, part of your responsibilities includes mentoring and guiding junior team members to foster their growth and development. Previous work experience in the finance domain is considered a plus for this role.,
