QA / Senior QA (Quality Assurance) Engineer

As an Application Quality Assurance Engineer at Convergint, you will be a key member of the Global IT Delivery Center team in Bengaluru. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct manual testing and develop automated test suites using Java or C#. You will collaborate closely with development teams, scrum masters, and product managers to ensure that the software meets the required quality and business standards. Your responsibilities will include participating in all aspects of the full-lifecycle development methodology, identifying dependencies and risks, and defining testing strategies for complex systems and applications. You will write test cases, review business and functional requirements to create test strategies, and automate UI and API test cases using programming languages like C#. Additionally, you will develop and execute automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases, as well as translate manual regression test cases into automated tests. Working with large datasets, conducting back-end testing, and managing test environments will also be part of your role. To be successful in this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Engineering or equivalent industry experience, along with a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in enterprise application testing. You should be proficient in test automation and manual testing, familiar with CRM tools like D365 and Salesforce, and have the ability to work in a continuous improvement and change management culture. Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills are essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. You should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment, prioritize urgency and accountability, and demonstrate a customer-oriented approach. Additionally, proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and a commitment to Convergint's Values and Beliefs are expected.
