Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst (/ Sr QA - Guidewire Data Migration Job mode: Remote (EST hrs) Notice - 30 days Job Description: Preferred Certificates (any one): Las Lenas/ Mammoth/ Kufri/Jasper/Hakuba/Garmisch/Flaine/Elysian/Dobson/Cortina/Banff/Aspen/Guidewire-V7/8/9/10). Quality assurance (QA) analysts, also known as testing analysts or testers, are responsible for developing and executing test plans to ensure the delivered solution meets project requirements and handles data in a predictable, error-free way. QA analysts may play a different role (e.g. business analyst, SME, etc.) earlier in the project. QA analysts are usually responsible for the following tasks: Work closely with business analysts and developers to identify, script, and execute functional test cases Verify the data mapping and compare the migrated data in the legacy system against the target system i.e., Guidewire applications and Databases. Create and execute regression test cases. Document and track issues identified in testing. Develop an integrated end-to-end functional test plan Develop a release user acceptance test plan Proficient with SQL QA resources will also have the following skills: Experience in testing complex enterprise software solutions. Experience writing and executing test plans. Experience in tracking and resolving issues encountered in testing. Functional understanding of the relevant domain ( underwriting , claims , billing , etc.) Ease and comfort working with technologies such Jira , SQL and Snowflake Candidates must be confident, proactive, and can work independently when needed. Previous Guidewire application knowledge is very beneficial Previous Guidewire Data Migration knowledge is also very beneficial.
