QA Manual Tester

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Review and analyze business and technical requirements to identify test conditions.
  
  Develop, review, and execute detailed Test Plans, Test Scenarios, and Test Cases.



• 
  

  Perform various types of testing including Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, and System Testing.

• 
  

  Conduct API Testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger.

• 
  

  Execute Web Application Testing for UI, usability, and cross-browser compatibility validation.

• 
  

  Perform Mobile Application Testing across Android and iOS platforms.

• 
  

  Identify , log, and track software defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps).

• 
  

  Participate actively in Test Planning, Test Estimation, and Test Review meetings.

• 
  

  Work collaboratively with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure issues are clearly communicated and resolved.

• 
  

  Maintain traceability between test cases and requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• 
  

  Document and communicate testing progress, defect metrics, and test summary reports to stakeholders.

  The Manual Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of web, mobile, and API-based applications through systematic manual testing processes. The role involves creating detailed test plans, designing and executing test cases, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product releases.
  
  
  
  The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), with hands-on experience in Functional Testing, API Testing, Web Testing, and Mobile Testing.

  
  
  Required Skills & Qualifications:

  
  
  
  
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
  
  • 1 2 years of hands-on experience in manual testing.
  
  
  • Good understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
  
  
  • Strong knowledge of test case creation, execution, and defect lifecycle.
  
  
  • Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  
  
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
  
  
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
  
  • Experience testing across multiple browsers and mobile devices is a plus.
  
  
  • Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
  
  
  • Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman.
  
  
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  
  
  • Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
