Overview of Role We are looking for a dynamic and experienced QA Practice Lead to establish, lead, and scale our quality assurance practice. The ideal candidate will have a balanced background in both automation and manual testing, with proven experience in leading QA teams or practices, even within smaller or mid-sized organizations. This is a strategic role that requires both technical and leadership capabilities to ensure software quality across. Responsibilities Define and implement QE best practices, frameworks, and governance models across product and engineering teams Lead the establishment of a QE Center of Excellence (CoE), driving consistency and maturity in testing practices. Partner with engineering, product, and DevOps to integrate quality into the development lifecycle (Shift Left and Shift Right strategies). Build and scale robust test automation frameworks (UI, API, performance, security). Define KPIs and quality metrics to monitor product and process health. Mentor and coach QA engineers across squads; upskill teams in automation, tools, and quality mindset. Evaluate, standardize, and manage testing tools and platforms. Drive adoption of CI/CD and test orchestration strategies to accelerate releases without compromising quality. Lead quality reviews, audits, and retrospectives to identify continuous improvement areas. Qualifications 1520 years of overall experience in QA, with at least 5 years in a leadership or practice lead role. Strong hands-on experience in both automation testing (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, etc.) and manual testing methodologies. Expertise in designing and building automation frameworks from scratch. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and QA processes. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills. Experience in implementing and driving quality metrics. Handling of ISO, IATF and other required certifications and all QMS systems. Handling customer audits and QMS queries. Responsible for heading a team of chemists Required Candidate profile Proper knowledge of QC SOP, MOA, Specification, BIS, ASTM, physicochemical Analysis and ISO documentation. Operating equipments like AAS, Surface Area Analyser, pH Meter etc.

QMS - Perform Evaluation/ Impact Assessment, pre-closure evaluation and final closure of Deviations, Change Controls, and Incident & CAPA. Review Investigation Report, Impact Assessment, Risk Assessment and other relevant QMS tool-based reports.

Qualifications: Educational Qualifications: B.E. in Polymer or Mechanical Engineering with 4-10 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering or production. Type of Institute: AICTE approved University/Institute. Key Responsibilities: Core ME Functions: Implement Lean Manufacturing processes to eliminate waste and improve efficiency. Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives across the manufacturing units. Develop and enhance vendor performance and relationships. Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation. Provide high-quality customer service and support. Progress Tracking: Maintain detailed records of the progress of all initiatives. Regularly report the status of implementation to the relevant vertical. Interface Needs of Technology and QA: Verify the adequacy and completeness of inputs from engineering/technology for manufacturing, QA, and logistics. Ensure the correct version of technical documents (BOM, technical specifications, part drawings, test procedures, and QAP) is distributed at the plant level. Support new product development (NPD) activities, prototype developments, and other initiatives as advised by the Vertical ME Head. Cost Reduction: Implement lean, kaizen, and six sigma methodologies in manufacturing units. Validate and implement value engineering proposals from the plant or vertical. Maintenance Monitoring: Monitor the function and maintenance of all molds, equipment, and tools within the Regional Business Unit (RBU).
