The Test Engineering Team Lead role at our company is an exciting opportunity for a skilled QA leader like you to utilize your experience, business acumen, and architectural philosophies to oversee the day-to-day management of our projects and sprints. In this role, you will lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of professional engineers to ensure the timely completion of engineering objectives with high quality. You will also be responsible for creating career development programs and short-term plans to enhance the skills and performance of the team. A significant aspect of your role will involve demonstrating data-driven analysis and making pragmatic decisions that are aligned with both business and technology needs. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers, development managers, product managers, and scrum-masters in an agile environment, where scrum is implemented at scale globally. It will be important for you and your team to stay abreast of the latest technology trends and contribute to the continuous improvement processes. To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, along with 8-11 years of work experience, including at least 2 years of experience leading technical teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a good understanding of technical product architecture, and knowledge of agile methodologies are essential requirements for this position. Additionally, you should have experience in test case development, automation script creation, testing, debugging, and reporting. Knowledge of CI/CD implementation, familiarity with Testing concepts and terminologies, and the ability to effectively share knowledge and stay updated on current trends and technical advancements are also key qualifications for this role. Experience with Selenium, Cypress, or WebDriver I/O, cloud platforms like AWS, and continuous integration tools like Jenkins would be considered a plus. Participation in open-source contributions, personal projects, community meetups, and relevant certifications are highly valued.
