Are you passionate about leading QA initiatives and inspiring teams to deliver quality beyond expectations Do you excel at creating test strategies that uncover critical issues and have strong leadership skills to elevate testing standards If so, we are looking for a mid-level QA Lead to join our team at UBS. In this role, you will lead the QA team responsible for ensuring the quality of UBS Data Mesh. You will be tasked with ensuring the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying QA procedures. Additionally, you will negotiate and lead multi-disciplinary teams to achieve excellence in product quality, share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, assist in hiring talented data engineers, and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities. You will also become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the product and help other teams with using the product. You will work within the Group Chief Technology Organization, focusing on QA of the enterprise data mesh and closely interacting with data owners across the bank. Joining a team that helps scale, build, and leverage data products in the firm, you will partner with different divisions and functions across the Bank to develop innovative digital solutions and expand our technical expertise into new areas. This is a growing team, and you will have the opportunity to further shape and establish its footprint in the organization. Your expertise should include test strategy and planning, test case review and prioritization, test metrics reporting, working with technical and program leadership for release management, conducting sessions for other teams to explain new features in a release, providing support to other teams, identifying opportunities for improvements in the product, and working with key stakeholders to create user stories for suggested improvements. Team handling, peer stakeholder communication, and management are also key areas of expertise required. In terms of QA/Technology Requirements, you should have experience in QA team leadership, test strategy, guiding test case preparation, reviewing test results, production issue handling, performance testing principles, and ideally have knowledge in Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, data mesh principles and technologies, and Linux/Ubuntu.
