QA Intern

Job Description

We are seeking a Software QA Test Intern to join our Quality Assurance team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for aspiring QA professionals to gain hands-on experience in software testing, quality assurance processes, and test automation. The intern will work closely with our QA team and receive mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals. Key Responsibilities: Test Case Creation: Assist in creating and maintaining test cases based on software requirements and specifications. Manual Testing: Execute manual test cases to identify defects and ensure software quality. Bug Reporting: Document and report defects in a clear and structured manner, including steps to reproduce and related information. Regression Testing: Participate in regression testing to ensure that software changes do not negatively impact existing functionality. Test Documentation: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test plans, test scripts, and test reports. Jira Usage: Utilize Jira for test case management, defect tracking, and project collaboration. Collaboration: Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software quality assurance and testing. Qualifications: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong interest in software quality assurance and testing. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Familiarity with software testing concepts is a plus. Knowledge in Jira or similar project management and issue tracking tools is a plus. ISTQB certification is an added advantage Effective Communication: Communicate test results, issues, and progress effectively with the QA team, developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
