Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer with 5 years of experience in both manual and automation testing, well-versed in object-oriented programming principles. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of OOPS, SOLID, and KISS principles, along with hands-on experience in automated testing using Selenium with JavaScript, and performance testing using tools like JMeter, K6, or REST-assured.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with JavaScript.
Perform thorough manual testing of mobile applications (Web, Native, and Hybrid) and web platforms across browsers and devices.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and UX teams to understand requirements and identify test cases.
Apply OOPS concepts and design principles (SOLID, KISS) in test automation frameworks and design.
Conduct performance and load testing using tools like JMeter, K6, or similar, and analyse results to identify bottlenecks.
Execute regression, smoke, functional, and exploratory testing across releases.
Maintain and enhance the QA process through best practices and standards.

Required Skills:

5 years of experience in software testing (manual + automation).
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
Proficiency in SOLID and KISS principles applied in QA automation.
Hands-on experience with Selenium using JavaScript.
Experience in testing mobile apps (native, hybrid, and responsive web).
Working knowledge of web browser compatibility testing.
Good understanding and experience in performance and load testing using JMeter, K6, or REST-assured.
Familiarity with Jira for issue tracking and test case management.
Proficient in GitHub: pushing/pulling code, branching, and creating basic workflows.
