QA Engineer /SDET (Automation & Manual)

As a QA Engineer / SDET at ixigo, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software development lifecycle. With 2-3 years of experience, you will be responsible for conducting both manual and automated testing to perform comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all software releases. Your attention to detail and passion for technology will be key in this dynamic position. Your main responsibilities will include developing and executing test plans and test cases, collaborating with product owners and developers for UAT, building and maintaining automated test frameworks, identifying and documenting defects, understanding feature requirements, refining testing processes, participating in release planning, and documenting testing processes and outcomes. Your contribution will be essential in enhancing our testing capabilities and implementing industry best practices. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Additionally, you should have 2-3 years of experience in software testing with proficiency in a programming or scripting language like Java, Python, or C#. Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG is required. A solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies, along with familiarity with Git and strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are also essential.
