QA Engineer - Manual & Automation

You will participate in sprint planning and grooming sessions to provide valuable QA input. In terms of test execution and automation, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or JUnit. You will perform manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, security, and usability testing. Analysis of test results and effective documentation of defects using bug-tracking tools will be essential. Advocating for quality throughout the entire software development lifecycle, proactively identifying and mitigating potential quality risks, and contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies are key aspects of the role. Effective communication of testing progress, issues, and findings to the development team and other stakeholders, building and maintaining strong relationships with cross-functional teams, and participating in code reviews to provide constructive feedback are crucial for success in this position. You will also be responsible for analyzing test data, generating comprehensive test reports to track progress and identify trends, and utilizing data analysis techniques to improve test effectiveness and efficiency. Requirements for this role include 2+ years of proven experience as a QA Engineer in an agile development environment. Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus. In terms of technical skills, you should have a strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies, proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or REST Assured, familiarity with SQL and scripting languages such as Python or Groovy, and experience with performance and load testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.,
