QA Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and automation. You will participate on projects with a cross functional set of team members including other SDETs, software engineers, data engineers, cloud architects, DevOps engineers, etc, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products through effective test strategies and automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of SDETs, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of test plans and automation projects.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using tools and platforms like Selenium, Playwright, and Katalon Studio, ensuring high test coverage for critical application areas.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and Technical Project Leads, to identify and prioritize high-complexity test scenarios.
• Continuously optimize and refactor automated test cases to improve performance, stability, and coverage.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing during development and deployment.
• Analyze test results, report defects, and ensure timely resolution to maintain high product quality.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other QA team members in building complex, composable automated tests.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing and automation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong expertise in test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, and Katalon Studio for building modular, composable automated tests.
• Proficiency in creating reusable, scalable, and maintainable automated test suites that integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman and other test automation tooling.
• Strong understanding of software testing best practices, including test case design, test execution, and defect management
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and Technical Project Leads
• Familiarity with Git based version control systems like Github, Bitbucket, Gitlab, and ADO.
• Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
• Experience with AI productivity tooling like Github Copilot, Cursor and Windsurf Cascade.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other test automation tools such as Selenium and Appium.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Groovy, Python,Powershell, and JavaScript.
• Performed manual or automated testing on platforms with features implementing generative responses (LLM integrations).
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
