QA Engineer

As a Quality Assurance Engineer with 2-4 years of experience in web and mobile application testing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of Android, iOS, and web applications. Your responsibilities will include designing and creating high-level test cases, collaborating closely with developers and the product team, executing test cases manually or through automation, and analyzing results. You will be expected to evaluate product code according to specifications, create logs to document testing phases and defects, report bugs to the development teams, and help troubleshoot issues as they arise. Additionally, you will work with cross-functional teams to maintain quality throughout the software development lifecycle, participate in product and project kick-off meetings, and review software design specifications and product requirements. Basic knowledge of writing and executing SQL queries is considered an added advantage for this role. A deep understanding of mobile applications, hands-on experience using Appium for mobile automation testing, and proficiency in Functional (System, Regression, Smoke) testing using Selenium WebDriver and TestNG frameworks are essential requirements. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science or information technology. Strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team are crucial for success in this role. A team player with a strong team spirit and experience working in an Agile environment will be well-suited for this position. Knowledge of Azure is desirable for this role.
