You are an experienced QA Engineer with over 8 years of testing experience, specializing in Eggplant Automation Framework. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the high-quality delivery of software through both manual and automated testing processes. Your key responsibilities will include designing and executing manual and automated test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts using the Eggplant Automation Framework, conducting database testing using SQL queries, and collaborating with development teams in Agile environments. Additionally, you will manage test cases and track defects using tools such as Jira, while ensuring software quality standards and testing best practices are adhered to. To excel in this role, you must possess 8+ years of QA engineering experience, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience using the Eggplant Automation Framework. Proficiency in SQL for database testing and validation, familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools like Jira, and a strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies are essential. Experience working in Agile development environments and knowledge of functional, regression, and integration testing approaches will be advantageous.
