Job Title : QA Engineer

Experience : 4 - 6 Years

Location : Chennai

Notice Period : 0-15 Days

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain automated test frameworks using BDD (Cucumber).
• Develop and execute Selenium WebDriver scripts in Java for UI automation.
• Perform API testing using Postman and automation tools like RestAssured.
• Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and backend testing (SQL is a priority).
• Work on 50% automation and 50% manual testing as per project needs.
• Prepare detailed test cases for manual testing (sometimes up to 200+ test cases).
• Ensure strong coverage for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality deliverables.
• Participate in defect triage, code reviews, and CI/CD integration.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in BDD frameworks (Cucumber).
• Hands-on expertise in Selenium WebDriver with Java.
• Proficiency in SQL for database testing (must-have).
• Experience with API testing using Postman and automation tools.
• Excellent test case preparation skills for manual testing (priority).
• Knowledge of TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, and Git/Jenkins.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to balance manual and automation testing effectively.
