Plan, design, and execute API test cases (manual & automated) using Postman or similar tools
Validate RESTful APIs for data flow, integrity, and functionality
Implement automated test scripts and perform regression & performance testing (e.g., JMeter)
Identify, document, and track defects in tools like JIRA, collaborating with developers for resolution
Ensure seamless API integration with internal and external systems
Proven experience in API testing with strong knowledge of HTTP, REST, SOAP protocols
Proficiency in API testing frameworks and version control systems
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Exposure to audits or compliance processes preferred
ISTQB certification or security testing experience is a plus
