Position: Assistant Manager - Quality Assurance Job Description: 1. Oversee the overall functioning of the QA department, including Chemistry, Microbiology, Meat QA, and Pet Food QA. 2. Ensure compliance with food safety standards (FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, GMP) across all operational areas. 3. Review and approve SOPs, COAs, PRP reports, audit documentation, and compliance records. 4. Monitor customer complaint trends , DQR data , fat analysis trend , metal contaminants lead root cause analysis (RCA), and validate corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). 5. Coordinate interdepartmental meetings to address process deviations and support cross-functional improvements. 6. Conduct regular performance reviews and mentoring for QA team members across shifts. 7. Ensure periodic training and competency assessment for QA staff on hygiene, safety, and testing protocols. 8. Approve quality reports and data before submission to corporate, regulatory, or customer representatives. 9. Review plant-level microbiological and chemical analysis reports; approve critical releases. 10. Ensure documentation integrity and real-time data entry in all QA systems (Shop Floor App, Excel, etc.) 11. Monitor and validate quality control practices during night and weekend shifts. Experience: 10 + Years Education: B. Tech Food Technology / M.Sc Mx CTC: 11 LPA
