QA Automation testing

You are a skilled and detail-oriented Test Engineer with 3 to 6 years of experience in software testing, including manual testing, automation testing using Selenium/Playwright, Cucumber BDD, and API testing. Your passion for quality assurance, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills, makes you an ideal candidate for this role. Experience in performance and load testing on Azure Cloud is considered an added advantage. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for automating test cases using Selenium/Playwright and Cucumber BDD frameworks, as well as performing API testing using tools like Postman, REST-assured, or equivalent. Collaboration with development and product teams to ensure product quality and timely delivery is crucial. You will also be expected to identify, report, and track software defects, ensuring resolution and quality improvement. Conducting regression, smoke, integration, and system testing as needed, analyzing test results, generating test reports, and providing detailed feedback to stakeholders are essential parts of your role. The must-have skills for this position include 3-6 years of experience in manual testing and automation testing using Selenium/Playwright, proficiency in Cucumber BDD for behavior-driven development, hands-on experience with API testing (REST/SOAP), and strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC). Additionally, having experience in performance testing and load testing, familiarity with Azure Cloud and related services for testing and deployment, and knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or Azure Load Testing are considered good-to-have skills.
