QA Automation

Grade - 8 to 10 years Location - Bengaluru & Gurugram Skills - Java, Selenium, Automation Testing, QA Automation, Cucumber, JMeter Notice period - Immediate or 1 Month Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to understand project requirements and user stories and translate them into comprehensive test plans and test cases. Conduct manual and automated testing of web-based applications using Java, Cucumber/Data Driven, and Selenium. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure efficient regression testing and maximum test coverage. Develop, execute, and maintain manual test cases based on business and functional requirements. Perform functional, regression, system integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) (as applicable). Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA or any defect tracking tool. Work closely with developers and product owners to identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects, and ensure timely resolution. Participate in test planning, estimation, and risk assessment for projects. Perform API testing using tools like Postman (if applicable). Ensure compliance with QA best practices, processes, and methodologies. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testers if required. Continuously improve the QA process by identifying areas for automation, enhancing test coverage, and implementing best practices. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to software testing and quality assurance. Core / Must Have Skills: Possess 6 -10 years of comprehensive experience in Software Testing and Automation, with a strong specialization in Selenium using Java Must have hands on implementation of Automation framework (preferable Data Driven/BDD Cucumber) along with different Automation framework architecture. Good knowledge of core Java, OOPS concepts, Selenium, Test Automation Framework development. Good Experience with SQL queries where person can write basic to medium queries based on requirement. Excellent knowledge in testing methodologies, QA terminologies, processes. Should be able to work independently and help other team members. Excellent communication, problem solving & analytical skills and debugging skills. Strong organizational skills, Team oriented attitude and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good to Have Skills: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus.
