QA Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize automation test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications.
• Implement and maintain robust automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects, inconsistencies, or performance issues.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving automation best practices.
• Document defects clearly and work closely with development teams for timely resolutions.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integrations using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Ensure test processes align with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 24 years of hands-on QA Automation experience.
• Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Good understanding of Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
• Experience in API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
• Experience in testing microservices-based architectures.
