QA Automation Engineer

As a QA Automation Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for automating regression, functional, and integration tests using appropriate tools. You will collaborate closely with developers to understand requirements and acceptance criteria, identify, document, and track defects, and work with the team to resolve issues. Your role will involve performing API, data flow, and end-to-end testing of features, maintaining and improving the test automation framework, participating in code reviews, and ensuring compliance with QA standards and best practices. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 4 years of QA experience, preferably with SaaS products. A good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and integration patterns is essential, as well as experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, and JMeter. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git is also required. Your excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with strong communication and teamwork abilities, will be key to your success in this position. Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes. Additional knowledge of technologies such as Devops and Maven would be advantageous.
