Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with hands-on experience in Playwright with Java to design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality software delivery through effective test planning, scripting, and execution. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain end-to-end automation test scripts using Playwright with Java . Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation. Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test scenarios and ensure comprehensive coverage. Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify issues. Maintain and improve the automation framework and utilities. Report defects and track them to closure using tools like JIRA or similar. Perform code reviews and provide feedback on test code quality. Required Skills: Strong experience in Java programming for test automation. Proficiency in using Playwright for UI automation (with Java bindings). Familiarity with Maven/Gradle , TestNG/JUnit , and automation frameworks. Experience in REST API testing (using RestAssured or similar). Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions. Good understanding of software development and QA life cycles. Preferred Skills: Exposure to BDD frameworks like Cucumber. Experience in testing web apps across multiple browsers and devices. Knowledge of performance or security testing is a plus. Familiarity with Docker and test containerization.
