Python/Django Developer

Role Overview: As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, and FastAPI. Your primary focus will be on developing RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support web applications, optimizing application performance, and ensuring responsiveness. Additionally, you will integrate third-party services, databases, and APIs, implement security protocols, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship new features. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI). - Develop RESTful / GraphQL APIs to support web applications. - Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness. - Integrate third-party services, databases, and APIs. - Implement security, authentication, and authorization protocols (JWT/OAuth2). - Write efficient, reusable, and testable code following best practices. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. - Ensure high availability and reliability of backend systems. - Create and maintain technical documentation. - Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. - Strong proficiency in Python (3.x). - Hands-on experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI. - Proficiency in Relational (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB/Redis). - Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and server-side logic. - Solid understanding of Docker, containerization, and deployment. - Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git). - Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and OOP principles. - Experience with asynchronous programming and WebSockets is a plus. - Good knowledge of unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).
