We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a strong team-oriented work ethic to join our team. Your primary responsibility will involve extracting structured/unstructured data from various retail and e-commerce websites using web crawling tools. You will be required to identify a diverse set of product pages for testing, develop XPath templates to extract attributes, and generate training data for Machine Learning engines using labelling tools. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and fixing bugs in existing templates, as well as responding to urgent client requirements for bug fixing. Desirable skills for this role include a good understanding of the Linux operating system, Python/Bash scripting, XPath for processing XML/HTML, web technologies and protocols (HTML, JSON, HTTP, CSS), version control systems like git/github, familiarity with Regular Expressions (regex), and experience with browser-based debuggers such as Chrome debugger. In terms of personal skills, we are looking for someone with keen attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions thoroughly, excellent written and verbal communication skills, willingness to learn new technical skills, good interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and a "can do" attitude. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree (BSc/BE/BCA) in Computer Science/IT/Electronics, with a Master's Degree (MSc/MCA/MTech) being preferred.
