To excel in this role, you should possess expertise in the following areas: - Advanced Ab>Initio and ETL Experience - AWS Architecture, Glue, S3, Iceberg - ETL and Warehouse Architecture - SQL and RDBMS Knowledge - Unix, Linux, Python wrapper - Experience in Oracle and Teradata Additionally, highly valued skills and key accountabilities include: - DBT - Snowflake, Databricks - Understanding of Agile and Jira Concepts Your performance may be evaluated based on critical skills essential for success in this role, such as risk management, change implementation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital technology proficiency. The position is based in Chennai. **Purpose of the Role:** Your primary objective will be to design, develop, and implement solutions for complex business problems. By collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs, you will create solutions that align with modern software engineering practices, balancing technology risks with business requirements and driving consistency. **Accountabilities:** - Design and develop solutions that can evolve as products, meeting business needs and utilizing modern software engineering practices. - Implement technologies and platforms, ensuring appropriate workload placement strategies and maximizing cloud capabilities. - Create designs that prioritize security principles and meet the bank's resiliency expectations. - Balance risks and controls to deliver business and technology value. - Support operational teams in fault finding and addressing performance issues. - Evaluate solution design impact in terms of risk, capacity, and cost. - Develop architecture inputs to comply with the bank's governance processes. **Assistant Vice President Expectations:** Your role will involve advising on decision-making, contributing to policy development, and ensuring operational effectiveness.
