Description
We are looking for a skilled Python Tester with expertise in Linux, Android Testing, and Manual Testing to join our growing QA team. As a Python Tester, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining automated and manual test cases to ensure the quality and performance of our applications. You will work closely with development teams to identify defects and collaborate on test strategies for Android applications, as well as Linux-based environments. Key Responsibilities: Manual Testing: Perform manual testing on Android applications and Linux environments, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Automation Testing: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python to test both web and mobile applications, ensuring high-quality software delivery. Linux Testing: Perform testing on Linux-based systems, ensuring compatibility and functionality across different distributions and environments. Android Testing: Conduct functional and performance testing for Android apps, including device-specific testing and compatibility checks across multiple Android versions. Test Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Record and report test results, bugs, and issues in a clear and concise manner. Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot and identify issues, track defects, and validate bug fixes. Performance Testing: Help evaluate and improve the performance of Android and Linux-based applications, conducting load, stress, and scalability tests. Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to process improvements for testing practices and automation frameworks. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proficiency in Python for writing automated test scripts and frameworks. Hands-on experience with manual testing techniques (functional, regression, UAT, etc). Strong understanding and experience in Linux environments, including command-line usage and shell scripting. Knowledge and experience in Android application testing (emulators, real devices, compatibility testing). Familiarity with testing tools like Appium , Selenium , or JUnit for test automation. Experience with bug tracking systems (eg, Jira, Bugzilla) and version control tools (eg, Git). Knowledge of REST APIs and proficiency in API testing. Understanding of SDLC, including Agile and Scrum methodologies. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
