Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Python SQL Developer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Python and SQL, with a background in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems, building efficient data pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code.
Build and optimize data pipelines and backend services using Python and SQL.
Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data analysts, DevOps, and product managers.
Ensure code quality through unit testing, peer code reviews, and best practices.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
47 years of professional experience in Python development.
Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server, etc.).
Experience with Python frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Microsoft Azure (PaaS, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, etc.).
Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
