Job description Senior Software Engineer – Python We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to build functional and efficient server-side applications. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be a lead developer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills. Core Responsibilities Write clean, high-quality, high-performance and maintainable code Develop new features and support/maintain existing software components. Support, test and deployment of new products and features Participate in code reviews Implement software enhancements, troubleshoot and fix production issues Requirements 4+ Years experience as a Python Developer Experience with Python frameworks (e.g. Django, Flask or Bottle) Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and REST API Experience with Flask, SQLAlchemy, MySQL and Docker, CircleCI, AWS is a plus Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work Bonus Points Fintech experience and passion for financial services Domain knowledge/ experience in the following: financial back office software such as accounts receivable/order-to-cash, treasury, cash forecasting software/subscription, ERP
