Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Python Lead Developer with strong expertise in Python, SQL, AWS, and Apache Airflow. The ideal candidate will lead a team of developers to build scalable data pipelines, backend systems, and cloud-based solutions, ensuring high performance, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Python developers, ensuring delivery of high-quality software solutions.
• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and backend systems using Python and Airflow.
• Work with AWS services (S3, Lambda, EC2, Glue, Redshift, RDS, etc.) for deployment, data storage, and automation.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and DevOps teams for efficient, scalable workflows.
• Implement and enforce best practices in coding, CI/CD, and source control.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues.
• Participate in architectural design and technical strategy discussions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience, including 2+ years in a lead/senior role.
• Strong expertise in Python (OOP, API development, data processing).
• Experience with frameworks like Flask or FastAPI preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
• Solid experience with AWS cloud services S3, Lambda, EC2, Glue, Redshift, RDS.
• Strong understanding of Apache Airflow for orchestration and automation.
• Knowledge of ETL development, data modeling, and data integration.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, and version control workflows.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
