Python Intern

As a Python Intern at ADI Group based in Mohali, you will have the unique opportunity to be a part of a multidisciplinary company with a global presence across four continents. Founded in 1999 and known for its innovative services, ADI Group offers end-to-end solutions in animation, IT development, medical writing, data services, and clinical research support to various industries like real estate, healthcare, education, and biotech. In this role, you will work closely with our development team to gain hands-on experience in software development, data processing, and scripting within a professional environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the development, testing, and maintenance of Python applications, collaborating on automation scripts, data processing tasks, and backend development, as well as debugging and troubleshooting issues in existing codebases. To qualify for this position, you should be currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or a related technical field. Basic knowledge of Python and its libraries, familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts, and an understanding of version control systems, particularly Git, are essential. Problem-solving skills, a strong willingness to learn, good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team are also required. While exposure to APIs, web development, or database systems and knowledge of the software development life cycle are preferred, they are not mandatory. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure is considered a plus.
